StaffPad Reader offers a synchronized digital music stand for StaffPad scores. Share your score seamlessly across a local Wi-Fi network, observe real-time changes, benefit from automatic page turns, a synchronized click track, a user-friendly dark mode, and create intuitive personal annotations with either your finger or an Apple Pencil. StaffPad Reader provides an advanced platform for reviewing, rehearsing, and performing music scores.

No More Printing

Devices utilizing StaffPad and StaffPad Reader on the same Wi-Fi network effortlessly exchange the same score through StaffPad's ScoreSync feature. No arduous file management, web links, passwords, or accounts are needed. Simply open the Reader... And that's it! Initiate ScoreSync in StaffPad, and the score magically appears on all connected Readers. Once finished, deactivate ScoreSync in StaffPad, and the piece vanishes without any file clutter.

Changes? No Problem!

The Reader remains fully synchronized with StaffPad, allowing for easy alterations, note fixes, or testing new ideas on the fly. Updates made reflect instantly on all connected Readers. Even without StaffPad, multiple Readers can still sync together.

In Perfect Sync

Besides synchronizing score content across devices, the Reader ensures everyone stays in sync time-wise as well. Hit play in StaffPad, and all Readers will play simultaneously. By plugging in headphones and activating the metronome, you can have a complete orchestra playing precisely in harmony.

Page Turns Made Simple

During playback, the Reader intelligently handles page turns for you. It smoothly previews upcoming measures as you reach the end of the first music screen. This feature eliminates awkward scrolling or swiping. However, if preferred, bluetooth page turns are supported too.

Personal Annotations

Annotate your score effortlessly with an Apple Pencil or your finger by activating the markup layer. Private annotations using red pen and yellow highlighter are exclusive to you. The grey pen allows your markings to transfer across all Readers and back to StaffPad.

Open StaffPad Scores

The Reader synchronizes scores from StaffPad but can also open StaffPad format (.stf) scores using the import feature on the main screen.
